how can I select the best global climate model (GCMs)?

I want to study on glimate change and I want to select one GCM to start.

« Who is responsible for QA(Quality Assurance), i.e. testing, the GCM's (Global Climate Models), who SHOULD be?

How can this paper not have an effect on the current climate debate.? »

   The only publicly available & reasonable GCM I know of is EdGCM:
   http://edgcm.columbia.edu/download-edgcm/

   Research level GCM/ESMs are generally run on supercomputers…

   Most climate researchers now use ensembles; which are multiple runs of multiple models to account for sensitivity to initial conditions and model assumptions.
